Vantage Precision Machining started in 2009 with one used 3-axis mill, a rented corner of a Reno warehouse, and a founder who refused to ship a part he wouldn't put his name on. Seventeen years later we run 42 CNC machines across 35,000 square feet — but the rule hasn't changed.
We serve engineers who can't afford surprises: aerospace primes, medical device startups, robotics teams iterating weekly. They stay because we treat their drawings as contracts — every callout, every datum, every note.
Machining is a craft that hides in the second decimal place. Our machinists average 12 years at the spindle, our programmers sit twenty feet from the machines they program, and our quality lab answers to no one but the print.
Founded by Marcus Hale with a single used VMC and three customers who took a chance.
Bought our first 5-axis mill to win an impeller job everyone else no-quoted.
Passed aerospace certification on the first audit and landed our first tier-one prime.
Commissioned robot-tended cells running 22 hours a day — capacity tripled, headcount grew too.
Moved into a purpose-built plant with a climate-controlled metrology lab at its center.
ISO 13485 program underway — a dedicated cell for implantable-grade titanium and PEEK.

We don't machine to "about right." Before a single tool touches stock, our programmers walk your drawing line by line: tolerance stack-ups, datum schemes, finish callouts, thread classes. If something on the print will fight the function, you hear about it in the quote — not after the first article fails.
